L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-30052026-272999 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2606] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, MAY 29, 2026/JYAISTHA 8, 1948 MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29th May, 2026 S.O. 2699(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 128 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 (36 of 2020) and in supersession of Ministry of Labour and Employment Notification number S.O. 4921(E) dated 29th October, 2025 except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby authorises the officers specified in column (2) of the Table below in the office specified in column (3) to levy on and recover from the employers by way of damages in the respective areas specified in column (4) of the said Table below in relation to establishments covered under Chapter III of the Code.
