L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-30012024-251651 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 70] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, JANUARY 30, 2024/MAGHA 10, 1945 MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th January, 2024 No. 08/2024-Customs G.S.R. 78(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and sub-section (12) of section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 50/2017-Customs, dated the 30th June, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub- section (i), vide number G.S.R. 785(E), dated the 30th June, 2017, namely :- In the said notification, in the Table, - (i) against S. No. 377, in column (3), for the item (ii) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted namely: - "(ii) Screw, SIM socket, or other mechanical items of Metal for cellular mobile phone;"; (ii) S. No. 1, in column (4), for the entry, the entry "10%" shall be substituted; (ii) after S. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following S.
