L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-29102024-258321 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4340] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2024/KARTIKA 7, 1946 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Northern Railway (CONSTRUCTION ORGANIZATION)] NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29th October, 2024 S.O. 4716(E).—The Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20A (1) of the Railways, Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), as amended by the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008, hereby declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed here to for the public purpose, namely for the execution, maintenance, management, and operation of the special railway project, "Construction of ROB 34-C at Railway Kilometer 35/2-3 at Saraichandi Yard" in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh state. Any person interested in the said land may, within 30 days from the date of publication of this notification, object to the acquisition of the land for the purposes mentioned above, as provided under sub-section (1) of Section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989. Every objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Phoolpur Tehsil District Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, in writing, and shall state the grounds of objection and the interest of the objector in the land. The competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further inquiry, if any, as it thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (1) of Section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 shall be final. The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available in the office of the competent authority for inspection by the interested persons.
