L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-29072024-255870 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 415] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, JULY 29, 2024/SHRAVANA 7, 1946 MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 28th July, 2024 G.S.R. 454(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 9, clause (b) of sub-rule (2) of the rule 12 and sub-rule (1) of rule 24 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965; the President hereby directs that, - (1) In respect of the posts in the General Central Service Group "B", specified in column (2) of the part 1 of the Schedule to this order, the authority specified in column (3) of the part 1 of the Schedule shall be the appointing authority and the authority specified in column (4) and column (6) of the part 1 of the Schedule shall be the disciplinary authority and appellate authority respectively in regard to the penalties specified in column (5), thereof; (2) In respect of the posts in the General Central Service Group "C", specified in column (2) of the part 2 of Schedule to this order, the authority specified in column (3) of the part 2 of Schedule shall be the appointing authority and the authority specified in column (4) and column (6) of the part 2 of Schedule shall be the disciplinary authority and appellate authority respectively in regard to the penalties specified in column (5), thereof; with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary).
