In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Central Government appointed the 1st day of November, 2025, as the date for certain provisions of the said Act to come into force. These provisions include sections 38 to 43, sections 45A to 45H, sections 46 to 75, sub-sections (2) to (4) of section 76, and sections 82 and 83.
