The new rules regulate the method of recruitment for the post of Workshop Supervisor, Group 'B' (Non-Gazetted), within the National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled under the Directorate General of Employment. There are 20 posts, classified as General Central Service, Group B Non-Gazetted Non-Ministerial, with a pay matrix Level-7 (Rs.44,900-1,42,400). Recruitment is 100% by promotion, requiring Vocational Instructors in Level 6 (Rs. 35400-112400) with five years of regular service and two weeks of training from the National Institute for Career Services, NOIDA, or a Government of India recognized institute. A Group 'B' Departmental Promotion Committee, chaired by the Director (Employment) of the Directorate General of Employment, with Deputy Secretary (Administration), Under Secretary, and Deputy or Assistant Director (Employment) as members, will consider promotions. The rules include provisions for disqualification based on marriage, power for the Central Government to relax provisions in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission, and a saving clause for existing reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and ex-Servicemen.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-28082025-265763 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2025/BHADRA 5, 1947 MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT (Directorate General of Employment) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, dated the 1st August, 2025 G.S.R. 583(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in supersession of the Vocational Rehabilitation Centres (Group 'B' Non-Gazetted posts) Recruitment Rules, 1996, in so far as they relate to the post of Workshop Engineer and the Vocational Rehabilitation Centres (Group C and D posts) Recruitment Rules, 1980, in so far as they relate to the post of Workshop Foreman, except as respects for things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Workshop Supervisor, Group 'B' (Non-Gazetted) in the offices of National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled under the Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour and Employment, namely: - 1. **Short title and commencement.** – (1) These rules may be called the National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled, Workshop Supervisor (Group 'B' Non-Gazetted Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. **Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix.** – The number of the said post, its classification and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules. 3. **Method of recruitment, age limit, other qualifications, etc.** – The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule. 4. **Disqualification.** – No person, - (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post: Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule. 5. **Power to relax.** – Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons. 6. **Saving.** - Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, ex- Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard. **SCHEDULE** | Name of post. | Number of post.
