New Delhi, the 28th February 2025
S.O. 1018 (E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)(a) and sub-section
(4) of section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), read with rule 3 of
the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members)
Rules, 1992, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, IAS (OR : 1987) as
Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India, initially for a period of three (03) years from the date of
assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
