In exercise of the Power Conferred by Section- 5 of the Contract Labour (R&A) Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby Constitutes a Committee to go into the question of abolition of Contract Labour in the Job i.e. LDC, Lift operator, DEO, Sanitary Inspector, MRI, Stenographer, Storekeeper, Receptionist, Driver, Telephone operator, DROA, Artist cum Computer Graphist, Junior Engineer (Telephone). Laboratory attendant, Dark Room Asstt. Etc in the establishment of PGIMER, Chandigarh. The composition of Committee and term of reference will be as under:- 1. Shri Jayant S. Member-Convener The term of reference of Proposed Committee would be as follows:- (1) To study the working of Contract Labour system in the Job/Works in the Establishment of PGIMER, Chandigarh as mentioned above and of which abolition of Contract Labour System has been Sought in Civil Writ Petition 4291 of 2022 in the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh. (2) The Committee has to make suitable recommendation whether or not employment of Contract Labour in Job/Works as mentioned above in the establishment of PGIMER, Chandigarh be prohibited keeping in view the provisions of Section (10) of Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970. (3) The report of Committee must be Submitted within 01 month positively as the case is related to contempt and board is duly bound to decide it within the stipulate time as directed by the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh.
