RESOULATION
New Delhi, the 27th May, 2024
No. S-16014/05/2023-LW(B). In exercise of Power Conferred by Section- 5 of Contract Labour (R&A)
Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby Constitutes a Committee to go into the question of
abolition of Contract Labour in the Trolley Retrievers working at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International and
Domestic Airport. The composition of Committee and its term of reference will be as under:-
1. Shri Dilip Kumar Chakraborty, Member

The term of reference of Proposed Committee would be as follows.
(1) To study the working of Contract Labour system in the Job/Works of TROLLEY RETRIEVERS at Netaji Subhas
Chandra Bose International and Domestic Airport of which abolition of Contract Labour system has been sought in
Writ Petition No. 10007 (W) of 2013 in the Hon'ble High Court of Calcutta (Kolkata).
(2) The Committee has to make suitable recommendation whether or not the employment of Contract Labour in
TROLLEY RETRIEVERS Job/Works in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International and Domestic Airport Kolkata as
mentioned above be prohibited keeping in view the provision of Section (10) of Contract Labour (Regulation and
Abolition) Act, 1970.
(3) The report of Committee must be Submitted within 01 month positively as the case is related to contempt and
board is duly bound to decide it within 06 weeks time, as directed by the Hon'ble High Court Kolkata in W.P. No.
10007 of 2013.
(4) The Head Quarter of Committee will be at Kolkata.
