Notification No. 13-CA (EXAM)/SEPTEMBER/2024 dated 21st May 2024, issued by the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in pursuance of Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, announces that the Chartered Accountants Foundation Course Examination (per the syllabus under Regulation 25F) will be held on 13th, 15th, 18th and 20th September 2024, and the Intermediate Course Examination (per the syllabus under Regulation 28F) will be held in two groups -- Group I on 12th, 14th and 17th September 2024 and Group II on 19th, 21st and 23rd September 2024; no examination is scheduled on 16th September 2024 (Monday) on account of Milad-un-Nabi, a compulsory gazetted Central Government holiday per F. No. 12/2/2023-JCA dated 3.7.2023 issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions; examination timings are 2 PM to 5 PM (3 hours) for Foundation Papers 1 and 2 and for all Intermediate papers, and 2 PM to 4 PM (2 hours) for Foundation Papers 3 and 4, with a 15-minute advance reading period from 1.45 PM IST except for MCQ-based question papers; the examinations will be conducted across numerous cities in every Indian state and union territory (for example 36 centres in Maharashtra, 27 in Tamil Nadu, 23 each in Karnataka and Rajasthan, 22 in Gujarat, and 18 each in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh) and at 8 overseas centres -- Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait and Muscat -- with local start times set to correspond to 2 PM IST (12.30 PM in Abu Dhabi/Dubai/Muscat, 11.30 AM in Bahrain/Doha/Kuwait, and 2.15 PM in Kathmandu).
