These rules, titled the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of commemoration of 550th Year Celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math) Rules, 2025, come into force upon their publication in the Official Gazette. They authorize the coining of a Five Hundred Fifty Rupees denomination coin at the Mint to commemorate the 550th Year Celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math. The coin will be circular, 44 millimeters in diameter, with 200 serrations, and composed of a Quaternary Alloy consisting of 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 05% Nickel, and 05% Zinc. Its standard weight is 35 Grams, with allowed remedies of 1/500th plus or minus for Silver content (498 to 502 per 1000) and 1/100th plus or minus for standard weight (34.65 grams to 35.35 grams). The obverse design features the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar, "INDIA" in English, the Rupee symbol "₹", and the denominational value "550". The reverse design bears the emblem of the 550th Year Celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math, the English title "SHREE SAMSTHAN GOKARN PARTAGALI JEEVOTTAM MATH", the English inscription "SARDHA PANCHASHATAMANOTSAV”, and the years '1475' and '2025'. Short title and commencement. — (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of commemoration of 550th Year Celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Denomination of coin. The coin of Five Hundred Fifty Rupees denomination shall be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of 550th Year Celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math. 3. Dimension and composition of coin. Design. The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule annexed to these rules. 5. Standard weight and remedy allowed. - The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred in rule 2 to commemorate the occasion of 550th Year Celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to these rules. FIRST SCHEDULE [See rule 4] FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY RUPEES OBVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol "₹" and denominational value "550" in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol. REVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the emblem of 550th Year Celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in the center of the coin. The title "SHREE SAMSTHAN GOKARN PARTAGALI JEEVOTTAM MATH" in English shall be inscribed below the emblem. The emblem shall consist of the following elements a semicircular background symbolising the rising sun, 24 Namas in the inner side of semicircular periphery, elevation of Partagali Math with Dharma Danda, 550 Years above the image of the math, the image of Flying Hanuman Ji with the image of Chakra on the left side and the image of Shankha on the right side. The inscription "सार्ध पञ्चशतमानोत्सवः" shall be written in Devanagari script on the upper periphery of the coin and the inscription "SARDHA PANCHASHATAMANOTSAV” shall be depicted in English on the lower periphery of the coin. The year '1475' in international numerals shall be inscribed on the left side of the image and the year '2025' in international numerals shall be inscribed on the right side of the image.
