The Ministry of Finance (Department of Financial Services) issued Notification S.O. 3918(E) on August 26, 2025. In exercise of powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Act, 1981 (61 of 1981), the Central Government, in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, has re-appointed Dr. Ravindra H. Dholakia. Dr. Dholakia, currently a Director on the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), is re-appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). This re-appointment is effective from October 6, 2025 (06.10.2025) for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
