Short title and commencement. — (1) This Scheme may be called the General Insurance (Rationalisation and Revision of Pay Scales and Other Conditions of Service of Supervisory, Clerical and Subordinate Staff) Amendment Scheme, 2023. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the General Insurance (Rationalisation and Revision of Pay Scales and Other Conditions of Service of Supervisory, Clerical and Subordinate Staff) Scheme,1974, in paragraph 10, — (i) in sub -paragraph (1), after clause (h), the following clause shall be inse rted, namely: - “(i) Special Leave connected to inquiry of sexual harassment”; (ii) after sub-paragraph (11) the following sub -paragraph shall be inserted, namely: - “(12) Special Leave connected to inquiry of sexual harassment . — Special Leave upto a period of ninety days may be granted to an aggrieved female employee on the recommendation of the Internal Complaints Committee during the pendency of inquiry under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and redressal) Act, 20 13 (14 of 2013) and the leave granted to the aggrieved female employee under this rule shall not be debited against the leave account .”.
