Short title and commencement. — (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of Golden Jubilee of Dredging Corporation of India Limited) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Denomination of coin. - The coin of Fifty Rupees denomination shall be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of Golden Jubilee of Dredging Corporation of India Limited. 3. Design. The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule annexed to these rules. 5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.— The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred to in rule 2 to commemorate the occasion of Golden Jubilee of Dredging Corporation of India Limited and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to these rules. FIRST SCHEDULE [See rule 4] FIFTY RUPEES OBVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते” inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "भारत" in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English. It shall also bear the rupee symbol "₹" and denominational value “50” in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol. REVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the image of a dredger vessel in the centre of the coin. The inscription "ड्रेजिंग कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया लि.” in Devanagari script shall be inscribed on the upper periphery of the coin and below it, “स्वर्ण जयंती” in Devanagari script and “GOLDEN JUBILEE" in English shall be inscribed. The inscription “DREDGING CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD.” in English shall be inscribed on the lower periphery of the coin. The year “1976 - 2026" in international numerals shall be inscribed below the image of dredger vessel. On both sides of the image of dredger vessel, there shall be an image of anchor.
