The standard weight of the coin is 35 Grams, with allowed remedies for composition (silver content varying from 498 to 502 per 1000) and standard weight (varying from 34.65 grams to 35.35 grams). The obverse design features the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar, the word "INDIA", the Rupee symbol "₹", and the denominational value "100". The reverse design will bear the image of the State Bank of India, Main Branch, New Delhi Building, its Official Emblem, the inscription "100 YEARS OF STATE BANK OF INDIA, NEW DELHI MAIN BRANCH", and the years "1926-2026". The rules come into force on their publication date in the Official Gazette.

No. 02/38/2025 - Coin] APARNA BHATIA, Adviser MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 26th February, 2026 G.S.R. 149(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of the Coinage Act, 2011(11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of completion of 100 Years of the State Bank of India, Main Branch, New Delhi) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Denomination of coin. — The coin of One Hundred Rupees denomination shall be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of completion of One Hundred years of the State Bank of India, Main Branch, New Delhi. 3. Design. The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule annexed to these rules. 5. Standard weight and remedy allowed. — The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred to in rule 2 to commemorate the occasion of completion of One Hundred years of the State Bank of India, Main Branch, New Delhi and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to these rules. FIRST SCHEDULE [See rule 4] ONE HUNDRED RUPEES OBVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "भारत" in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol "₹" and denominational value "100" in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol. REVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the image of the State Bank of India, Main Branch, New Delhi Building at the centre of the coin. The Official Emblem of the State Bank of India shall be depicted above the image. The inscription "100 YEARS OF STATE BANK OF INDIA, NEW DELHI MAIN BRANCH” in English and the inscription "भारतीय स्टेट बैंक, नई दिल्ली मुख्य शाखा के 100 वर्ष" in Devanagari script shall be inscribed on the upper periphery of the coin. The year "1926-2026" in international numerals shall be depicted on the lower periphery of the coin.
