Venkaiah Naidu), former Deputy Prime Minister (Shri L. K. Advani), key government secretaries (Cabinet Secretary Dr. T. V. Somanathan, Principal Secretary to PM Dr. P.K. Mishra, Home Secretary Shri Govind Mohan, Secretary I&B Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary Ministry of Culture Shri Vivek Aggarwal), family members of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, spiritual leaders, educationists, journalists, administrators, economists, authors, scientists, actors, scholars, political leaders, the Chairperson of CBFC, artists, media activists, archaeologists, sportspersons, civil engineers, and industrialists. The committee's mandate includes approving policies, plans, and programmes, supervising and guiding the commemoration, and deciding on broad dates for the celebration programme.
