NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st April, 2026
S.O. 2053(E).— Whereas, M/s. Cessna Garden Developers Private Limited, had proposed under
Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) hereinafter referred to as the Act, to set up
a Sector Specific SEZ for Information Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services at
Kadubeesanahalli Village, Taluk Varthur Hobli, Bangalore District, in the State of Karnataka;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)
of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified/de-
notified the following areas at above Special Economic Zone as per the details given below in the table:

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Cessna Garden Developers Private Limited has now proposed for de-
notification of 0.66 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Karnataka has given its approval to the proposal vide
letter No. CI 316 SPI 2025 dated 1st January, 2026. Further, after de-notification, the land parcels would be
utilized for creation of infrastructure which would sub serve the objective of the SEZ as originally envisaged
and such de-notified area will confirm to Land Use Guidelines/master plans of the respective State
Government.
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Cochin SEZ has recommended the proposal
for decrease in area of 0.66 hectare at the Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8)
of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones
Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 0.66 hectare at above special economic
zone, thereby making the resultant notified area as 17.3307 hectares. The Survey numbers and the areas for
de-notification are given below in the table, namely: -
