L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-25022026-270482 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 958] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2026/PHALGUNA 5, 1947 MINISTRY OF FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING (Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th February, 2026 S.O. 1002(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 15 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984), read with sub-rule (5) of rule 10 of the Veterinary Council of India (Procedure for recognition and de-recognition of Veterinary Colleges and Veterinary Qualifications) Rules, 2017, the Central Government, after consulting the Veterinary Council of India, hereby makes the following further amendments in the First Schedule to the said Act, namely:- In the First Schedule to the said Act, 1984, under sub-heading “DEGREES”, in serial number 75, relating to Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner,against item (iii), under column 3, for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “(i) B.V.Sc. & A.H. (This qualification shall be a recognized veterinary qualification as aforesaid only when granted on or after the 19th January, 2011 and on or before the 24th July 2015); or "(ii) B.V.Sc. & Α.Η. (This qualification shall be a recognized veterinary qualification only when granted on or after the 20th July, 2027).” [F. No. K-12052-9/3/2019-LH] R S SINHA, Addl. Secy.
