Pursuant to the approval of Appointments Committee of the Cabinet conveyed vide communication No. 31/1/2023-EO(SM.II) dated 09.05.2023 and upon police verification of his character & antecedents and medical fitness, Dr. Budha Rashmi Mani, Former Director General, National Museum and Vice Chancellor, National Museum Institute, has been appointed to the post of Director General, National Museum, New Delhi and Vice Chancellor, National Museum Institute(Now Indian Institute of Heritage), on contract basis in Level-15 of pay matrix, as per usual terms and conditions as are applicable to retired employees, w.e.f 12.05.2023(AN) [ the date of assumption of the charge of the post], till he attains the age of 70 (seventy) years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
