RESOLUTION
New Delhi, the 21st February, 2025
No. S-16012/01/2024-L.W(B). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Contract Labour
(Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby constitutes a Committee to
consider the Grant of exemption to (i) Gumgaon Mine, (ii) Mansar Mine, (iii) Kandri Mine, (iv) Balaghat Mine,
(v) Tirodi Mine, (vi) Ukwa Mine, (vii) Chikla Mine, (viii) Dongri Buzurg Mine, (ix) Beldongri Mine and
(x) Sitapatore Mine of MOIL Limited under section 31 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970
against Notification No. S.O. 196 (E) dated 23.03.1993 in respect of employment of Contract Labour in the works at
schedule to the said Notification.
2. The composition of the Committee and its terms of reference will be as under:-

3. The terms of reference of the proposed Committee would be as follows: -
"To study whether there is justification for grant exemption to Coal Mining Projects at (i) Gumgaon Mine, (ii) Mansar
Mine, (iii) Kandri Mine, (iv) Balaghat Mine, (v) Tirodi Mine, (vi) Ukwa Mine, (vii) Chikla Mine, (viii) Dongri
Buzurg Mine, (ix) Beldongri Mine and (x) Sitapatore Mine of MOIL Limited in the works specified in the schedule to
the notification No. S.O. 196(E) dated 23.03.1993 against Notification No. S.O. 196(E) dated 23.03.1993 prohibiting
of employment of Contract Labour in the works given in the schedule to the said Notification."
4. The Headquarters of the Committee will be at Jabalpur and Nagpur. The Committee shall submit its report
within two months.
