L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-24022024-252335 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 792] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2024/PHALGUNA 4, 1945 MINISTRY OF TEXTILES ORDER New Delhi, the 22nd February, 2024 S.O. 830(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16 read with section 17 and sub-section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public interest and after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby makes the following amendment in the Medical Textiles (Quality Control) Order, 2023, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) This Order may be called the Medical Textiles (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2024. (2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Medical Textiles (Quality Control) Order, 2023 : - (i) in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2) the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:- “(2) This order shall come into force as specified in column (5) of the SCHEDULE - A and SCHEDULE – B annexed to this Order." (ii) in SCHEDULE-A, for Column (5), the following shall be substituted, namely :- "1st October 2024". Note: The principal order was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) vide notification number S.O. 4247(E) dated 27th September 2023. [F.
