Detailed Summary

The Ministry of Defence, through Notification S.R.O. 11(E) issued from New Delhi on 20th June, 2025, has, in pursuance of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 7 of the Works of Defence Rules, 2025, mandated the Central Government to notify the Revenue Secretary of the State. The purpose is for the Revenue Secretary, within whose administrative jurisdiction the property of a representationist is located, to consider representations against the determination of compensation by the Collector. This compensation determination is carried out under section 12 of the Works of Defence Act, 1903 (7 of 1903). The notification is signed by RAKESH MITTAL, Jt. Secy., with the file number F.No. 55/Dir (Lands)/2023 (pt.II).
