The National Legal Services Authority issued a Notification on May 23, 2025 (F. No. 6(1)95-NALSA) in exercise of powers conferred by Section 3A of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (39 of 1987). Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India has nominated Hon'ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Judge, Supreme Court of India, as Chairman of the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee. This nomination is effective from May 25, 2025. The notification also makes an amendment to Notification No. S.O.115(E) dated February 09, 2000, by substituting the entry at serial number (1) with "MR. Justice Vikram Nath- CHAIRMAN". No. 6(1)95-NALSA.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3A of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (39 of 1987), Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India is pleased to nominate Hon'ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Judge, Supreme Court of India, as Chairman of the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee with effect from 25.05.2025 and makes the following amendment in its Notification No. S.O.115(E) dated 09.02.2000 namely:- In the said Notification, for the serial number (1) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted namely: - 1.
