ORDER
New Delhi, the 25th April, 2025
S.O. 2040(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Industries (Development and
Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), read with rules 3, 4 and 5 of the Development Councils (Procedural) Rules,
1952, the Central Government hereby appoints the following persons as Chairman and Members of the Development
Council for Footwear and Leather Industry, for a period of two years from the date of publication of this Order in the
Official Gazette and for the said purposes makes the following further amendments in the notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal
Trade, vide number S.O. 3127 (E), dated the 14th September, 2020, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), namely:
1. Shri Puran Dawar, President, Agra Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Chamber, -Chairman;
2. Shri H. K. Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Campus Activewear Limited, -Member;
