NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th December, 2025
S.O. 5941(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 15 (1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
Act, 1960 (59 of 1960), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Notification of
Government of India in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Number S.O. 323(E) dated 16.01.2025
published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II- Section 3- Sub-section (ii) notifying the constitution of the
Committee for Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals(CCSEA), namely:
2. In the said notification:-
(a) at entry related to the serial number 8 and 11 following entries shall be inserted-

Extraordinary Gazette of India vide notification number S.O. 323(E) dated 16.01.2025 which was amended vide
notification number S.O. 4884 (E) dated 23rd October, 2025.
