Notification (Extraordinary) regarding declaration of certain computer resources relating to identified Critical Information Infrastructures (CIIs) of the IndusInd Bank Ltd. and the computer resources of their associated dependencies as protected systems

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-22102024-258149 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4249] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2024/ASVINA 30, 1946 MINISTRY OF ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 22nd October, 2024 S.O. 4623(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 70 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby declares the computer resources relating to the Core Banking Solution (CBS), Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT), Immediate Payment Service Switch (IMPS), Unified Payments Interface (UPI) Switch, Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Switch and Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications Systems (SWIFT), being Critical Information Infrastructure of the IndusInd Bank Ltd., and the computer resources of their associated dependencies, to be protected systems for the purposes of the said Act and authorises the following persons to access the protected systems, namely:— (a) any designated employee of the IndusInd Bank Ltd. authorised in writing by the IndusInd Bank Ltd. to access the protected system; (b) any team member of contractual managed service provider or third-party vendor who have been authorised in writing by the IndusInd Bank Ltd. for need-based access; and (c) any consultant, regulator, Government official, auditor and stakeholder authorised in writing by the IndusInd Bank Ltd. on case-to-case basis. 2.
