This notification, S.O. 3347(E), issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment on July 21, 2025, states that in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Central Government appoints August 1, 2025, as the date on which sections 38 to 43, sections 45A to 45H, sections 46 to 75, sub-section (2) to (4) of section 76, and sections 82 and 83 of the said Act shall come into force.
