Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of Golden Jubilee of New Mangalore Port Authority) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Denomination of coin.- The coin of Fifty Rupees denomination shall only be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of Golden Jubilee of New Mangalore Port Authority. 3. Design.- The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule to these rules. 5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.- The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred in rule 2 shall be coined to commemorate the occasion of Golden Jubilee of New Mangalore Port Authority and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to these rules. FIRST SCHEDULE (See rule 4) FIFTY RUPEES OBVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमेव जयते" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "भारत" in Devnagari script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “Z” and denominational value “50” in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol. REVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the Logo of New Mangalore Port Authority in the center of the coin. Inside the Logo of New Mangalore Port Authority, the year '1975' shall be inscribed on the left side and the year '2025' shall be inscribed on the right side. On the upper periphery of the coin, the inscription "नव मंगलूर पत्तन प्राधिकरण की स्वर्ण जयंती” shall be written in Devanagari script, and “GOLDEN JUBILEE OF NEW MANGALORE PORT AUTHORITY” in English shall be inscribed on the bottom periphery of the coin.
