Detailed Summary

This notification, S.O. 1814(E), issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on 22nd April, 2025, formally announces the appointment of three individuals as Members of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). Consequent upon their election by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Shri Om Prakash Sharma, Shri Kartar Singh Tanwar, and Shri Punardeep Singh Sawhney have been appointed to the DDA. This appointment is made under the provisions of clause (f) of sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Delhi Development Act, 1957 (61 of 1957). The tenure of their membership will be for a period of five years, commencing from the date of their election. However, their term will conclude earlier if they cease to be Members of the Legislative Assembly or are included in the Council of Ministers, whichever event occurs first.
