NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st January, 2025
S.O. 372(E).—Whereas by a notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Housing and Urban
Affairs vide number S.O. 3706(E), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii),
dated the 14th October, 2019, the Central Government made alteration to the metro alignment of Pune Metro Rail
Project Corridor-2 in the Schedule of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978 (33 of 1978) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act);
And whereas by a notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs vide
number S.O. 2819(E), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the
19th August, 2020, the Central Government made alteration to the metro alignment of Pune Metro Rail Project
Corridor-1 in the Schedule of the said Act;
And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that further alteration is necessary for the construction
and maintenance of the Metro Railways to which this alignment relates.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 32 of the said
Act, the Central Government hereby makes the amendments in the notifications specified in column (2) of the table
below to the extent specified in the entries in column (3) of the said table, namely: —
