NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20 th March, 2024
S.O. 1508(E).—WHEREAS, M/s. SEZ Bio -Tech Services Private Limited, had p roposed under Section 3 of
the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a Special
Economic Zone for Biotechnology at Village Manjari Budruk, Taluka Haveli, District Pune, in the State of
Maharashtr a;
AND, WHEREAS , the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section
4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified the following areas at above
Special Economic Zone as per t he details given below: -

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. SEZ Bio -Tech Services Private Limited has now proposed to include an area of
3.9035 hectares as a part of above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government aft er considering the said
proposal approved and conveyed it on 22nd February, 2024 ;
NOW, THEREFORE , in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub -section (1) of section 4
of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of t he Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the
Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 3.9035 hectares, as a part of above Special Economic Zone,
thereby making total area of the Special Economic Zone as 26.3261 hectares. The survey numbers an d the area for
notification are given below in the table, namely: -
