This notification, exercising powers under sub-section (2) of section 15 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984), makes further amendments to the First Schedule of the said Act. Specifically, in serial number 73, which pertains to Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, a new item (iii) is inserted. This new entry recognizes the 'Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry' (B.V.Sc. and A.H.) qualification from the College of Veterinary Science, Rampura Phul, Bathinda, Punjab. The qualification will be recognized from the date of the notification's publication in the Official Gazette. The First Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, was last amended by notification S.O.3232(E), dated July 14, 2015.
