V-11011(13)/9/2024 -CPCSEA -DADF -Part(1)] No. 5061] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY , DECEMBER 18, 2024 /AGRAHAYANA 27 , 194 6 CG-DL-E-19122024-259515 MINISTRY OF FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING (Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 16th December, 2024 S.O. 5469(E). –––In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals Act, 1960 (59 of 1960), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Number S.O 4595 (E) dated 2nd November, 2021, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, sub -section (ii) notifying the constitution of the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA), namely: - 2. In the said notification, the para No. 2 shall be replaced as under: - “The term of the Committee shall be valid till the constitution of the subsequent Committee.” [F.No. V-11011(13)/9/2024 -CPCSEA -DADF -Part(1) ] Dr. ABHIJIT MITRA , Animal Husbandry Commissioner Note: The present Committee has been reconstituted and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide S.O 4595 (E) dated 2nd November, 2021 which was amended vide notification number S.O. 3502 (E) dated 16th August, 2024.
