Notification for appointment of JS(CUSTOMS) as JS(PITNDPS)

Order issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue (PITNDPS Division) specially empowering a Joint Secretary under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988. S.O. 4098(E), dated New Delhi, 19th September 2023, issued in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988 (46 of 1988), states that the Central Government hereby specially empowers Shri Anupam Prakash, Joint Secretary to the Government of India, for the purpose of the said Section (which concerns the power to make orders for detention with a view to preventing illicit drug trafficking). The order is issued under F. No. U-11022/14/2011-PITNDPS and signed by Arvind Kumar Mishra, Deputy Secretary.
