Sima Sarkar, IAS Commissioner of Textiles & Sericulture, West Bengal, to serve as a Member of the Central Silk Board. This nomination is made by the Central Government in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Central Silk Board Act, 1948 (61 of 1948). Smt. Sarkar was nominated on the recommendation of the Government of West Bengal under Section 4(3)(f) of the Act. Her tenure as a member will be for a period of three years from the date of this notification, subject to the provisions of the Act. The notification was signed by PADMINI SINGLA, Jt.
