L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-19062026-273655 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3131] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 2026/JYAISTHA 29, 1948 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Railway Board) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19th June, 2026 S.O. 3255(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026), the Central Government hereby appoints the date of publication of this notification as the date on which the provisions of the said Act, in so far as it relates to serial numbers 47 and 52 and the entries relating thereto in the Schedule to the said Act, relating to the Calcutta Metro Railway (Operation and Maintenance) Temporary Provisions Act, 1985 (10 of 1985) and the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) respectively, shall come into force.
