The Branch shall be known as Darbhanga Branch of Central India Regional Council and its Headquarters shall be at Darbhanga (Bihar). The Jurisdiction of the Branch shall besides Darbhanga city, include the following cities/towns falling within a radius of 50 kms. from the city limits of Darbhanga: - 1. Darbhanga Sadar 2. The Branch shall be known as Raigarh Branch of Central India Regional Council and its Headquarters shall be at Raigarh (Chhattisgarh). The Jurisdiction of the Branch shall besides Raigarh city, include the following cities/towns falling within a radius of 50 kms from the city limits of Raigarh: - 1. Raigarh 2. Pusaur 3. Sarangarh 4. Baramkela 5. Gharghoda 6. Tamnar 7. Dharamjaigarh 8. Kharsiya 9. Lailunga 10. Sakti As prescribed under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and directions of the Council through Central India Regional Council and shall carry out such directions as may, from time to time, be issued by the Council. [ADVT.-III/4/Exty./038/2024-25] NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 28th March, 2024 (CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS) No. 1-CA (7)/218/2024.—Whereas the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India vide notification No. 1-CA (7)/78/2004 dated 01st October 2004 w.e.f 23rd July 2004 had set up a Branch of Central India Regional Council at Ujjain under Regulation 159(1) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988. Now in partial modification of the aforesaid notification, the Council of the Institute hereby notify to include Barnagar in the Jurisdiction of Ujjain Branch of CIRC of ICAI under Regulation 159(1) of the Chartered Accountants Regulation, 1988.
