This correction is made in exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023. Specifically, in Para 19(2)(ix) to General Notes regarding Import Policy under ITC (HS), 2022 Schedule 1 (Import Policy), the HS Code 530010, which pertains to 'Unbleached woven fabrics of jute or of other textile bast fibers', shall now be read as HS Code 531010. The original notification dealt with port restrictions on the import of certain goods from Bangladesh to India.
