In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46 read with sub-section (1) of section 119 of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (37 of 2020) and in supersession of the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment vide even numbers S.O. 4196(E) dated the 28th December 2016, S.O. 4201(E) dated the 28th December 2016, S.O. 4291(E) dated the 28th November 2016 and S.O. 4296(E) dated the 28th November 2016, the Central Government hereby appoints the gazetted officers of the Government mentioned in column (2) of the table below to be the Designated Authority for the purpose of the Code, within the local limits of the jurisdiction specified in column (3) of the Table below:- TABLE
