This Order amends the Government of India's previous Order, S.O. 1830(E), dated 22nd April, 2025, which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, sub-Section (ii). Specifically, in paragraph 4 of the Preamble of the said principal Order, the phrase 'up to the 30th June, 2025' is replaced with 'up to the 30th June, 2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier', thereby extending the specified period. The original Order, S.O. 1830(E), was published on 22nd April, 2025.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-18022026-270272 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 805] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2026/MAGHA 27, 1947 1175 GI/2026 MINISTRY OF TEXTILES ORDER New Delhi, the 16th February, 2026 S.O. 845(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Jute Packaging Materials (Compulsory Use in Packing Commodities) Act, 1987 (10 of 1987), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Textiles, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, sub-Section (ii) vide number S.O. 1830(E), dated the 22nd April, 2025, namely:- In the said Order, in the Preamble, in paragraph 4, for the words, figures and letters “up to the 30th June, 2025", the words, figures and letters "up to the 30th June, 2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier" shall be substituted.
