Declaration of certain computer resources of Airports Authority of India and their associated dependencies as protected systems

L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3027 ] NEW DEL HI, MON DAY, JULY 17, 2023/ASHADHA 26, 194 5 CG-DL-E-17072023-247363 MINISTRY OF ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NOTIFICATI ON New Delhi, the 17th July, 2023 S.O. 3156 (E).—(1) (i) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 70 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000), the Central Government hereby declares the computer resources relating to the following Communications, Navigation and Surveillance s ystems for Air Traffic Management , being Critical Information Infrastru cture of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) , and the computer resources of its associated dependencies , to be protected systems for the purpose of the said Act , namely:— (a) Indian Mast er Control Centre, Indian Land Uplink Station, Indian Reference Station s of GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation ; (b) Very High Frequency Voice Communication Control System, Automatic Message Switching System, Communications, Navigation and Surveillance systems for Air Traffic Management Automation, Radio Detection And Ranging , Adv anced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System and Autom atic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Guwahati Flight Information Regions (FIRs); (c) Air Traffic Services Messaging Handling System of Delhi and Mumbai FIRs; (d) Aeronautical Information Services - Aeronautical Information Management System of Delhi FIR ; (ii) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section ( 2) of section 70 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000), the Central Government authorises t he following personnel to access the protected systems, namely:— (a) any designated employee of the Airports Authority of India authorised in writing by the Airports Authority of India to access the protected system ; (b) any team member of contractual managed serv ice provider or third -party vendor who have been authorised in writing by the Airports Authority of India for need -based access; and (c) any consultant, regulator, Government official, auditor and stakeholder authorised in wr iting by the Airports Authority of India on case to case basis. (2) This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. [F.
