In exercise of the power conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways (Amendment) Act-2008, the Central Government hereby notifies the project of "New BG Line between Rama Mandi-Sadda Singhwala via Talwandi Sabo (35.907 Km)" as a "Special Railway Project" for acquisition of 179.69 Hactare of land, in 02 Districts namely Mansa and Bhatinda of the state of Punjab, for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette.
