(1) These rules may be called the National Dam Safety Authority (Functions and Powers) Amendment Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the National Dam Safety Authority (Functions and Powers) Rules, 2022, in rule 2, in sub -rule (1), after clause (c), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: „ca. “Member” means Member of the National Dam Safety Authority who will be of the level of J oint Secretary to the Government of India or equivalent, to be appointed by the Central Government.‟ [F.
