Notification S.O. 3243(E), issued by the Ministry of Heavy Industries on July 8, 2025, and published on July 16, 2025, declares that the Central Government, in pursuance of Sub-Rule (4) of Rule 10 of the Official Language (Use for official purposes of the Union) Rules, 1976 (as amended in 1987, 2007, and 2011), hereby notifies BHEL POWER SECTOR, EASTERN REGION, KOLKATA as a unit office. This notification is based on the criterion that more than 80% of the staff in this office, which is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, have acquired a working knowledge of Hindi.
