Bhatia (Additional Secretary General, Federation of Indian Mineral Industries), Shri Mukesh Mathur (General Secretary, North Western Railway Employees Union), Shri Dilip Kumar Chakraborty, Shri Kunal Rawat (National Secretary, All India Trade Union Congress), the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Ajmer as Member Convener, and Shri Jai Bhagwan, Under Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment as Member Coordinator; the Committee's headquarters will be at Ajmer, Rajasthan, and it is directed to submit its report within two months; the notification is signed by Jai Bhagwan, Secretary.

No. U-23013/02/2023 -L.W(B).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby constitutes a Committee to go into the question of prohibition of contract labour in various job s/works of extraction of salt from the lake to pilling/storing and operation in Guda Salt Refinery and Nawa Salt Refinery of Sambhar Salt Limited, Sambhar Lake, Rajasthan. 2. The Composition of the Committee will be as under: - 1. Shri B.K. The terms of reference of the proposed Committee would be as follows: - “To study the working of contract labour system in the jobs/work of extraction of salt from the lake to pilling/storing and operation in G uda Salt Refinery and Nawa Salt Refinery of Sambhar Salt Limited, Sambhar Lake, Rajasthan and to make suitable recommendations whether or not the employment of contract labour in the said establishment be prohibited in the jobs/work of extraction of salt f rom the lake to pilling/storing and operation keeping in view the provisions of Section 10 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970.” 4.
