L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-14082024-256352 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3140] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, AUGUST 13, 2024/SHRAVANA 22, 1946 MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 13th August, 2024 S.O.. 3455(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (5) and (6) of section 125 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) read with rules 5 and 7 of the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (Appointment of Chairperson and Members, holding of meetings and provision for offices and officers) Rules, 2016, the Central Government hereby appoints the following persons as chairperson and members to the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority from the date they assume their office as such and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide number S.O. 1647 (E), dated the 5th May, 2016, namely:- In the said notification.- (i) for serial numbers 1 and 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely:– "1. Shri Manoj Govil, Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi Chairperson, ex officio; 2. Shri Neeraj Nigam, Executive Director, Reserve Bank of India Member, ex officio"; (ii) for serial numbers 4 to 7 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely :- "4. Shri Praveen Garg, 301, 3rd Floor, Antariksh Bhawan, 22 KG Marg, Atul Grover Road, Janpath, Barakhamba, New Delhi -110001 Member; 5. Smt. Meenakshi Sharma, B 1401, Oyster Grande, Sector 102, Dwarka Expressway, Gurgaon-122505 Member; 6. Shri Dhirendra Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Value Research India Private Limited, C-103, Sector 65, Noida-201301 Member; 7. Smt.
