NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th May, 2026
S.O. 2453(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 49 of the Code on Wages,
2019 (29 of 2019), and in supersession of the notifications of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Labour and
Employment S.O. No. 3730(E) dated 17.10.2019, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such
supersession the Central Government hereby appoints the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Table below to be the
appellate authorities, to hear and dispose of the appeals filed by any person aggrieved by an order passed by the authority
under sub-section (2) of section 45 of the said Code, in relation to which the Central Government is the appropriate
Government, in the area specified, respectively, against them in column (3) thereof, namely:-
