EXTRAORDINARY PART I—Section 1 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 242] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY , SEPTEMBER 12, 2024/BHADRA 21, 1946 CG-DL-E-13092024-257151 MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT (Central Advisory Contract Labour Board ) RESOLUTION New Delhi , the 12 th September, 2024 No. S-16012/01/2015 -L.W(B).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Contract Labour (Regula tion and Abolition) Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby constitutes a Committee to consider the Grant of exemption to Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore under section 31 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 against Notification No. 162(E) dated 10.03.1999 in respect of employment of Contract Labour in the work schedule to the said Notification. 2. The terms of reference of the proposed Committee would be as follows: - “To study whether there is justification for grant of exemption to Rail Wheel Factory in respect to the activities namely (i) Oxy cutting of steel scrap (ii ) Handling of materials (iii) Painting, Packing and Loading of Wheel sets (iv) Oxy cutting of skull (v) Maintenance of factory premises (vi) Relining of Electric Are Furnace and ladles to make suitable recommendation whether or not exemption under section 31 of the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970, from the applicability of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, number S.O. 162 (E) dated 10.03.1999, in respect of employment of contract labour in t he work specified in the schedule to the notification, be granted to the said establishment.” 4.
