No. S-16012/01/2023 -L.W(B) .—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby constitutes a Committee to consider the Grant of exemption to Tubed Coa l Mine of Damodar Valley Corporation under section 31 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 against Notification No. S.O. 2063 dated 21.06.1988 in respect of employment of Contract Labour in the works at serial no. 1 to 3 given in the schedule to the said Notification. 2. The composition of the Committee and its terms of reference will be as under: - 1. Shri Surendra Kumar Pandey, -Chairman Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Qutr. 107 Po -Vishrampur Koliyari, District - Surajpur, Chhatisgarh. 2. Shri Himanshu Sekhar Pradhan G.M. Shri Dilip Kumar Chakraborty - Member House No. 322A, Bhagwan Das Chitrakar Hata, Humayunpur North, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh -273015. 4. Shri Bhaskar, Deputy Secretary - Member Ministry of Women & Child Development Jeevan Vihar Building, 1st Floor, New Delhi -110001 5. Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) - Member Convener Patna. 6. The terms of reference of the proposed Committee would be as follows: - “To study whether there is justification for grant exemption to Coal Mining Projects at Tubed Coal Mine of Damodar Valley Corporation in the works specified in the schedule to the notification No. S.O. 2063 dated 21.06.1988 at serial no. 1 to 3 against Notification No. S.O. 2063 dated 21.06.1988 prohibiting of employment of Contract Labour in the works given in the schedule (Sl. No. 1 to 5) to the said Notification.” 4. The Headquarters of the Committee will be at Patna. The Committee shall submit its report within two months. JAI BHAGWAN , Secy .
