Surendra Kumar Pandey (Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh) as Chairman, and Members Sh. Mukesh Mathur (North Western Railway Employees Union), Sh. Prabhudas Xalxo (Director, Social Justice, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment), Sh. Jayant S. EXTRAORDINARY PART I—Section 1 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 244] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY ,SEPTEMBER 12, 2024 /BHADR 21, 194 6 CG-DL-E-13092024-257139 MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT Central Advisory Contract Labour Board R E S O L U T I O N New Delhi the 12th September, 2024 No.U -23013/02/2017 -L.W(B). - In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby constitutes a Committee to consider the Grant of exemption to Coal Mining Projects of NTPC Limited under section 31 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 against Notification No. S.O. 2063 dated 21.06.1988 in respect of employment of Contract Labour in the works at serial no. 1 to 3 given in the schedule to the said Notification. 2. The composition of the Committee and its terms of reference will be as under: - 1. Sh. The terms of reference of the proposed Committee would be as follows: - “To study whether there is justification for grant of exemption to NTPC Limited namely Pakri -Barwadih, Chatti -Bariatu, Kerandari, Badam, Dulanga and Talaipalli to make suitable recommendation whether or not exemption under section 31 of the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970, from the applicability of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, number S.O. 2063 (E) dated 21.06.1988, in respect of employment of contract labour in the work specified in the schedule to the notification, be granted to the said establishment.” 4.
